Content Audit & Optimization Services

Most sites are sitting on their next quarter of growth. Pages in positions 11–30 need editing, not replacing — and some of your archive is actively holding you back.

Overview

Your fastest SEO wins are already on your own domain

Publishing more is the expensive answer. Before you commission another twenty articles, it is worth knowing which of your existing pages are close to breaking through, which are cannibalising each other, and which are dead weight.

We inventory every indexable URL, pull performance data, compare each page against the current SERP, and sort the archive into four buckets: keep, refresh, merge, remove.

Then we rewrite the ones with the highest expected return. Updating existing content from position 11–30 to Google page one is the single highest-ROI project in most content programmes.

  • Page-one movement from content you already paid for
  • Cannibalisation resolved, so one strong page replaces three weak ones
  • A leaner, better-linked archive that is cheaper to maintain
  • A clear answer to “is our old content worth keeping?”

Questions

Content Audit and Optimization Services FAQs

We have audited sites from 30 to 6,000 URLs. Above roughly 1,000 pages we audit by template and cluster, sampling within each group, and prioritise the pages carrying measurable traffic or revenue.

Removing genuinely worthless pages usually helps, provided redirects are handled correctly. We never recommend deletion for pages with backlinks or conversions — those get merged or refreshed instead.

Pages already in positions 11–30 often move within two to six weeks of the refresh being indexed. Pages beyond position 50 usually need a rewrite rather than an edit, and take longer.

Yes, and roughly half our audits are exactly that. We report on the content, not on the agency, and we will tell you plainly when the previous work was sound.

Read access to Google Search Console and Analytics, and ideally your rank tracker. If you cannot grant access, we can work from exports.
