The goal of this project was to create content that would help SEO beginners learn. Some content was published on the website, and some used as downloadable resources.
The client wanted two pillar topics with 10 clusters each. I started with keyword research and developed around 10 topics under each pillar topic.
My content planning process involves thorough keyword research to ensure each cluster aligns with business goals and targets the right audience, maximising impact.
In my content strategy work, I focused on:
- Customer challenges and aspirations, aligning them with specific SEO keywords to ensure content resonated deeply with their target audience.
- Implementing high-quality images with descriptive alt text, enhancing accessibility and providing context for search engines.
- Implementing data-driven on-page strategies:
- Writing titles and descriptions optimized for both user engagement and search engines, increasing click-through rates and relevance signals.
- Naturally incorporating primary and secondary keywords throughout headlines, body text, and image alt tags for improved ranking potential.
- Employing headers (H1, H2, H3) to structure content logically, improving readability and search engine understanding.
- Developed cohesive content clusters around key topics, establishing the website as a trusted resource within their industry
